We are committed to continue working on making our production more local and sustainable. All phases of production take place in Portugal, where we source almost all of our materials. PRIVACY POLICY
Softrock is a family project that creates new realities by playing with the senses, organic shapes and their natural appearance. This project emerged as a collaboration between João Parrinha, a multidisciplinary artist and product designer, and his daughter Carolina Parrinha, the brand’s artistic director.
Inspired by natural forms, Softrock pushes boundaries in the creation of soft pieces that visually resemble different types of rocks. Creating environments that evoke the comfort of being surrounded by nature, Softrock questions our perception and how we relate to the natural world.
All pieces are unique, entirely handmade and only produced by order. Softrock’s versatility allows us to conceptualise and adapt, be it larger artistic commissions or a single customised piece. The rocks are comfortable, soft and light-weight, but above all, imaginative.
